NZ Airports submission on Regulatory Standards Bill

This submission is very clear on our opposition to the AC – which should be focused on the Civil Aviation Rules – including any commendatory or advice on airport’s master planning and consulting.   Airports have legislated obligations in the 2023 Civil Aviation Act to consult on spatial plans, and the AC risks becoming a confusing second ‘source of truth’ for airports to obey.
