New Zealand’s first national Tourism Policy Statement was released in June and sets out the Government’s long-term direction for the visitor economy and the roles it expects central government, local government, and industry to play in delivering it.

In this webinar MBIE officials will provide an overview of the statement and its implementation direction. We’ll invite discussion on the areas most relevant to airports, including demand generation and marketing, regional dispersal, funding arrangements, and how industry, including airport operators, can engage effectively as implementation gets underway.
