Join us for an exclusive member-only webinar as Auckland Airport shares insights into its draft Master Plan 2025—the first to be delivered under the updated Civil Aviation Act. These legislative changes now require New Zealand airports to consult with substantial customers and relevant government agencies on their spatial plans.

Auckland Airport has been undertaking an extensive review since December 2023, with their refreshed draft Master Plan offering a holistic view of the airport precinct, centred around aeronautical operations. This updated plan sets out a strategic development framework extending through to 2047.

This session will provide NZAA members with an opportunity to learn about:

• The new legislative requirements for Master Planning in New Zealand

• The planning process and methodology behind AKL’s draft Master Plan

• Key learnings from Auckland Airport’s experience

Consultation on the draft Master Plan is open from 29 April to 2 July 2025, with multiple opportunities for stakeholders to engage.

This is a unique chance to gain early insights into a nationally significant planning process and connect with peers as part of the evolving airport planning landscape.
